Our small, hand-tended vineyard is nestled on the southwest hillside of the Mayacamas Mountains in the Moon Mountain District of Sonoma. At Manzanita Grove Vinyard, we are committed to using sustainable, regenerative agricultural practices in caring for our vines, orchards, and gardens. This includes planting cover crops to protect the soil, retain water, sequester carbon and provide food for beneficial insects. We have put up bluebird, owl and bat boxes for pest management. Our vineyard is surrounded by a Manzanita Grove -the native tree which I fell in love with when first visiting this property. Our wines at Manzanita Grove Vineyard speak for themselves, crafted with precision and passion to offer a truly exceptional experience. From the moment of bud break in the Spring to harvest in the fall, every step of the way, we are focused on quality while protecting the land. We protect native oak trees and plant hedgerows of native plants while we tend our vines and spend time with family.
Award-Winning Wines
DIscover our award-winning wines. The Sangiovese vines were planted in the traditional Tuscan-head pruned style and the wine is full of delicious red fruit flavors. Meanwhile, our Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of violets, cassis and rich, dark berries which pairs well with mushroom risotto as well as meats. Our wines have been winning blind wine-tasting competitions such as The SF Chronicle Wine Competition (shown) and the Sonoma County Harvest Fair.
Our Story
We have been dedicated to the craft of winemaking and vineyard cultivation since 2011. Over the years, our connection to the vines has deepened as we've spent countless hours walking the rows, studying their growth patterns, understanding their soil requirements, and appreciating how each season imparts its unique influence on the vineyard and the quality of the harvest.
